Generations, not guarantees
Standard text-only generation: 10 credits → 2 song outputs. Complete generations = floor(available credits ÷ credits per generation). Outputs = generations × 2. Leftover credits = available credits − generations × cost.
Local arithmetic example, not a Suno platform test: 2,500 credits (Pro allowance, official pricing) ÷ 10 credits per generation (official v6 FAQ) = 250 generations; 250 × 2 outputs per generation (same FAQ) = 500 outputs. Both official sources were checked on 16 October 2026. These are capacity calculations, not predictions of usable songs. Rerolls, failed requests, refunds and editing costs are not modeled. Local test fixture: with 2,537 user-entered credits, floor(2,537 ÷ 10) = 253 generations; 253 × 2 = 506 outputs; 2,537 − 253 × 10 = 7 credits left. These figures were calculated in this tool on 16 October 2026, not generated on Suno.
Downloads stay separate
*Potential downloads = min(new outputs, downloads remaining). This assumes every selected output is otherwise eligible. Credits do not buy an equivalent number of downloads. Extra download purchases are not priced here; enter your actual remaining allowance.
Free credits refresh daily, not as a pooled monthly balance. Paid subscription credits reset monthly and do not roll over. Purchased top-ups require an active subscription to use.
All current v6 variants
This page covers v6, v6-wild and v6-mini; Free, Pro and Premier; standard generation, Max Mode and image/video-input scenarios. Free is limited to v6-mini. Simple and Advanced are creation interfaces; no separate fixed generation rate was verified for either.
Variety changes how closely style instructions are retained; it is not a published credit multiplier. Max Mode and media-heavy inputs need your actual per-generation charge. Zero Variety is an official option for keeping style tags under your control.
Editing & old models
The official FAQ covers single-lyric and section edits, mashups, sampling and isolation, text/audio/image/video references, old-song continuity, and custom-model migration. Those capabilities are described here, not charged at an invented edit rate.
Previous models are retired for new outputs. Existing songs remain in your library; new iterations use current models. Commercial rights depend on plan, creation time and source material. This calculator does not certify release rights.
